Plain Township maintains the grounds of three cemeteries, the Maplewood Cemetery located on 4585 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, the Smith Burying Grounds located north of the city on Route 62 and the Smith Cemetery located on Lee Road.
Maplewood Cemetery is the only active cemetery in Plain Township. For information on lot availability, pricing, burials, or monument foundations, please see Cemetery Fees.
Cemetery Hours
April 1 – September 30, 7 am – 8 pm
October 1 – March 31, 7 am – 6 pm
Township cemeteries shall be closed to the public at all other times.
Normal hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Please leave a message if there is no answer. In case of an emergency on the weekend, please call the Fire Department at (614) 855-7370.
