The Plain Township Board of Trustees is seeking to appoint one member to the Plain Township Board of Zoning Appeals and two members to the Zoning Commission. Interested residents are encouraged to submit a resume and letter of interest to the Board of Trustees at 45 Second Street, P.O. Box 273, New Albany, Ohio, 43054. Applicants must reside within the unincorporated territory of Plain Township.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is a five member board that is responsible for hearing and deciding zoning appeals, Variances and Conditional Uses. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
The Zoning Commission is a five member commission that reviews rezoning requests and development plans. The Zoning Commissions meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.
The appointments are for a 5 year term. Members serve on a voluntary basis.
