Plain Township Seeks Applicants to Serve on Zoning Commission

The Plain Township Board of Trustees is seeking to appoint one member to the Plain Township Zoning Commission. Interested residents are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Board of Trustees at 45 Second Street, P.O. Box 273, New Albany, Ohio, 43054 or contact@plaintownship.org. Applicants must reside within the unincorporated territory of Plain Township.

The Zoning Commission is a five member commission that reviews rezoning requests and development plans. The Zoning Commissions meets as needed on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. The Zoning Commission has met infrequently over the past several years do to limited development activity within Plain Township.

The appointments are for a 5 year term. Members serve on a voluntary basis.
