NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED BIDS will be received until July 6, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. by Ben Collins – Plain Township Administrator, at the Plain Township Offices, 45 Second Street, PO Box 273, New Albany, Ohio 43054, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, services, and equipment required for:
PLAIN TOWNSHIP FIRE STATION 121 ROOF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

This Notice to Bidders shall also be posted to the homepage of the Plain Township website: www.plaintownship.org . The proposals can be delivered and received either by hard copy at 45 Second Street, PO Box 273, New Albany, Ohio 43054, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Bids will be read publicly at the Plain Township Offices at 7:00 p.m. on July 6, 2021.
The proposals shall be in accordance with specifications and drawings contained herein and any addenda thereto prepared by or at the direction of Plain Township. Proposals shall meet the requirements of O.R.C Section 153.54. The bidding documents may be obtained from Prime AE Group, Inc. 8415 Pulsar Place, Suite 300, Columbus, Ohio 43240.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Plain Township Fire Station, 9500 Johnstown Road New Albany, Ohio 43054, on June 25, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
Bidders shall note that the Prevailing Wage Rates published by the U.S. Department of Labor and Ohio Department of Commerce are to be complied with throughout the project. Bidders shall also note that the Rules and Regulations on Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246 & 11375) shall be made a part of this contract. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
A single contract will be awarded for this Project. Estimated cost of construction is $328,202.
No bid will be considered unless made on the forms provided with the Contract Documents which consist of all advertisements, instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings, bid form of contract agreement, bid and performance bond, schedule of wage rates, and all addenda thereto, all of which are available upon request. No contract shall be awarded to a person or company against whom a finding for recovery has been issued that remains unresolved.
No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Plain Township intends to accept the lowest and best bid (bidder) for the project, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities that do not affect the substance of the specifications.
