Duties

The township zoning officer is responsible for enforcing the Plain Township Zoning Resolution, including the investigation of complaints, violations and nuisance issues.

The zoning officer advises the zoning commission and board of zoning appeals on zoning issues as well as preparing meeting minutes, legal notices and reports.

The zoning officer also assists applicants in completing required paperwork and understanding zoning procedures.
