Obtain a report from the fire suppression company doing system and hood testing. Maintain a 3’ clearance around the furnace & hot water tanks & electric panels. Mechanical rooms must be free from storage. A u.l. Approved [3-a 40-b:c] portable fire extinguishers mounted (not more All flammables must be stored in a “flammable cabinet”. Extension cords must be at least 16-18 gauge cords and cannot be used as permenant wiring. Extension cords & power-strips must be plugged directly into an outlet (not into each other). All ceilings, walls and floors must be continuous (no missing ceiling tile or holes). 3’ aisles and all paths of egress must be free from obstruction at all times. Door stops and wedges are prohibited on all fire doors. All outlets, juction boxes, wiring and electric panels must have covers. All emergency lighting & exit signs must be in working order. Any compressed gas cylinders (empty or full) must be secured All hazardous chemicals must be diked, incase of a spill. Any fraid or damaged wiring must be repaired or removed immediately. Fire department connections must be hand-tight only. No storage on or under stairs. All stairwells must have handrails.
